
Over these years, he has provided organizational leadership on strategy building, program development & management, quality assurance and resource mobilization. He has expertise in building and managing partnership with multi stakeholders like corporates, government, international agencies and community organisations with high level of networking proficiencies. He has worked in senior leadership positions with organizations of international and national repute namely TechnoServe, CARE International, ACCESS, Plan international project, Institute of Entrepreneurship and Global AgriSystem. He holds Board positions in three development organizations including Managing Trustee of Forum of Enterprises for Equitable Development.
He holds an MBA from Calcutta University, an MA in Applied Economics from Utkal University and has received education and training from Asian Institute of Technology; Coady International Institute, Canada; University of East Anglia, UK; Yale School of Management, USA; CARE-Academy, Atlanta; FAO sponsored program on Livelihoods and Enterprise Development as an expert and Growing Inclusive Market organised by UNDP in Canada. He regularly speaks at conferences and other forums in both India and overseas. He has authored and presented numerous thematic papers focusing on livelihoods and agri-enterprise promotion, climate smart agriculture, micro finance, women's economic empowerment and program convergence. He is an ASPIRE Fellow.

Bipin is a core volunteer for ‘DaanUtsav’ India's festival of giving, celebrated from October 2-8, which celebrates the act of giving in various forms, including cash, kind, effort, kindness, and awareness building. According to the Economic Times, “Bipin Mohanty was only refreshing his roots.” During the COVID-19 pandemic, his innovative approaches made a significant impact. These included:
Helping around 1,600 auto-rickshaw drivers through crowd funding.
Coordinating with the Andhra Pradesh administration to migrate workers from the Tada border to the Odisha border.
Arranging OSRTC to provide bus services from border to border as well as to specific destinations.
Supporting a 24x7 Citizen Support Centre.
Online streaming on mental health and wellness.
Planted 1,10,000 Fruit Plants in the state (Phailin affected area)
He is also a mentor at the Bharatiya Yuva Shakti Trust and an adviser to the Society for Children.
